The Financial Times global MBA Rankings 2025 are out, featuring the world’s 100 best business schools. In the latest edition, the University of Pennsylvania: Wharton grabbed the top spot followed by the Columbia Business School in the United States.
FT Executive MBA Rankings. ISB Jump 24 Places
Financial Times MBA Ranking: The Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad is the best management college in India and 27th globally in the Financial Times (FT) rankings of MBA 2025. Of the total 100 B schools, 8 of them are from India. Last year, only 6 Indian business schools secured a spot in the FT rankings of MBA.

The rank of the ISB has improved this year as against 31 in 2024 and 39 in 2023. The three-year average rank of the Institute is 32. It stood at 4 for the alumni network.
Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2024. ISB Tops Once Again
Interestingly, as many as eight Indian B-Schools have also made their mark in the FT MBA Rankings 2025. Among them, the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad emerged as the top Indian B-School with a global rank of 27, followed by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A) which ranked 31st.
ISB Ranked 40th in Financial Times Executive MBA Ranking 2024
In the ranking, the top spot was achieved by the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton campus followed by Columbia Business School, both of them US universities. The third spot was with IESE Business School, followed by Insead, SDA Bocconi School of Management and MIT’s Sloan campus. The famous London Business School was ranked 7.
