Eligibility Criteria:
- All applicants are required to appear for GMAT / CAT / XAT before applying to the Great Lakes Institute of Management.
- For PGDM 2025 Intake, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept scores of GMAT taken after 1st January 2022, CAT taken in 2023 / 2024, and XAT taken in 2024 / 2025.
- All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution and a minimum 60% score across 10th / 12th / Undgraduation.
- Freshers and candidates with strictly less than 36 months of work experience as of 30th June 2025 only are eligible to apply.
- Candidates with 2-3 years of work experience by 30th April 2025 are encouraged to apply for the One Year PGPM. They are also eligible to apply for the Two-year PGDM.
- In case an eligible candidate would like to apply for both programmes, they may do so by filling out the application forms for both PGPM and PGDM separately. Candidates will be evaluated based on the respective programme’s admission criteria.
- There will be a special preference for College / University rank holders in terms of an extra weightage gained as part of the selection process. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant.
Admission Process:
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply to the Great Lakes Institute of Management by completing an online form. - Candidates can choose to apply by visiting the website and filling in the online application form after making a payment of Rs. 2,000/-.
- The entire application procedure will be online.
- Candidates must have a viable recommendation letter submitted online. The letter would be collected from the candidate after the final selection.
- While applying the candidates have to provide the official email of the recommender.
Evaluation & Selection Process: Applicants will be evaluated based on GMAT / CAT / XAT scores, past academic performance, analytical writing test, work experience (if applicable) and performance in the personal interview.
- Standardized Test Scores: GLIM Gurgaon considers GMAT, CAT or XAT scores in the overall assessment
- Academic Abilities: GLIM, Gurgaon evaluates candidates for consistent or impressive academic backgrounds across 10th, 12th and Undergraduation.
- Analytical Writing Test: The AWT will be conducted before the personal interview and will determine a candidate’s written communication skills and ability to reason and present their point of view on a specific topic, mostly based on current affairs, industry trends, technological developments, socio-economic factors and so on.
- Personal Interview: Aims to determine the suitability of the candidate for the programme and as a future management professional. Candidates are assessed on some parameters including general, business awareness and so on.
- Diversity: GLIM, Gurgaon encourages women to enter into management careers and awards additional points for admissions to these candidates.

GLIM, Gurgaon Placements 2024:
- The PGPM Batch of 2024 after the completion of interim placements saw participation from a varied set of recruiters such as Deloitte, Accenture, Incedo, Cognizant, Tiger Analytics and so on. The average CTC of the batch stood at Rs. 15.30 LPA and the highest domestic CTC offered stood at Rs. 25.50 LPA. IT/ITES (45%) was the largest recruiting industry followed by Consulting (31%).
- A total of 60% of the roles were offered in Strategy, Business, Digital and Functional Consulting; 15% of the offers were made in Digital Ops; 10% of the offers accounted for Account Management, Business Development, Presales and Sales.
