IIFT Final placement out fot hr batch 2016-18, Average placement is INR 19.23 LPA which is higher than last eay average Placement 18.41 lpa. The average package offered to the IIFT students in the placement drive is INR 19.23 LPA, while for domestic placement, it stood at INR 18.27 lPA for the domestic roles, as per the institute. Four students receiving a package of $1,50,000 per annum along with another layer of compensation of $80,000 being offered to 7 students.
A total of 93 PPOs were made in comparison to 74 last year reaffirming the recruiters’ faith in the talent and hard work of the candidates at IIFT.
However, international placements continued to be strong with 31 international roles being offered to the students in international business roles in South America, Thailand, Africa and South-East Asian countries. Hero Motocorp, Mother Dairy, TVS Motors and a few others including DBS and British Telecom recruited students for various domains in their international business streams
The placement drive was taken up for the total batch strength of 288 students, and the institute witnessed a major upsurge of more than 29 per cent in the number of pre-placement offers. A total of pre-placement offers were made to the students this year, rising from 74 made last year.
A total of 94 employers, along with 35 first time recruiting companies participated in the placement drive comprised of important brands like Delloite USI (S&O) EXL, YES Bank, Tech Mahindra, PepsiCo along with Arcesium and Avendus Capital.
