The sixth cohort was formally announced at an event by Prof. Samir K. Srivastava, Director, IIM Amritsar, in the presence of Prof. Vartika Dutta, Chairperson – Executive MBA, alongside senior faculty and institutional leaders. The announcement highlighted the institute’s continued commitment to equipping professionals with the capabilities required to navigate structural shifts, technological disruption and evolving global dynamics.

The programme follows a blended learning format, combining interactive online sessions with three on-campus immersive modules in Amritsar and an international experience in Denmark. The Denmark immersion, delivered through a structured executive bootcamp, places participants within a distinct business ecosystem, offering direct exposure to models of sustainable growth, innovation-led enterprises and collaborative governance frameworks.
Participants benefit from over 750 hours of engagement through live virtual instruction and in-person learning. The programme attracts a diverse cohort of professionals, ranging from mid-career managers to senior leaders and entrepreneurs, with experience spanning three to over fifteen years across industries such as information technology, consulting, banking and financial services, energy, manufacturing and the public sector.
Designed to support career advancement and leadership development, the curriculum is delivered across six terms. It progresses from foundational areas covering people, markets and analytics to advanced themes in strategy, transformation and leadership. Participants may further specialise through electives in Marketing and Communications, Finance, Accounting and Control, Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources, Quantitative Methods and Operations Management, Strategic Management and Economics and IT and Computational Systems.
The on-campus immersions at Amritsar provide an enriched learning environment through experiential workshops, industry interactions, fireside conversations with senior leaders and curated engagements that deepen peer learning. The Denmark immersion complements this journey through modules focused on Values and Innovation, Insights and Innovation and Modelling and Pitching, enabling participants to contextualise global frameworks within their professional domains.
The programme is delivered via TimesPro’s Interactive Learning platform and adopts a dynamic pedagogy that blends academic rigour with real-world application. Assessment is conducted through a combination of assignments, examinations, Integrated Field Projects and advanced strategic simulations. Participants also gain access to curated masterclasses and asynchronous leadership sessions spanning areas such as resilient leadership, business strategy, diversity and inclusion, marketing and corporate communications.
Admissions to the programme follow a comprehensive selection process, including the IIM Amritsar Admission Test (IAAT). Candidates may also submit valid CAT, GRE or GMAT scores as part of their application. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded the prestigious IIM Amritsar alumni status, joining a growing network of accomplished professionals across industries.
About IIM Amritsar: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar, established as the 15th IIM by the Ministry of Education (formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development) with support from the Government of Punjab, began its journey with the registration of the IIM Amritsar Society on July 27, 2015.
