The Common Admission Test (CAT) cutoffs for the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are highly competitive and are determined each year based on factors like the exam’s difficulty level. CAT 2025 Exam was held on Nov 30, 2025 in three slots.

It’s important to understand the difference between the Qualifying Cutoff and the Final Admission Cutoff:

• Qualifying Cutoff: The minimum CAT percentile required to be eligible for the next stage of the selection process, which includes the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. 
• Final Admission Cutoff: The actual percentile at which candidates are shortlisted and eventually secure admission. This is typically significantly higher than the qualifying cutoff.
