The Summer Internship Placement (SIP) report for the batch 2019-21 at IIM Sirmaur attracted more than 60 companies of which 33% had international operations. The highest stipend offered to the 5th batch of the institute’s flagship PGP program (Class of 2021) was INR 1,70,000; Top 20% students received average stipend is INR 54289.5 and Top 50% of the batch received stipend INR 40500.5.
The major recruiting companies for the summer placement were from manufacturing and Edu-tech sectors along with Analytics, Banking and Consulting. The students of the summer internship batch received offers in a variety of functional roles ranging from sales & marketing, finance, operations and supply chain management and human resource management to product development and market research, information technology, consulting, analytics, general management and business development.
