IIT Guwahati M Tech Admission 2026: IIT Guwahati (Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati or IIT G) has officially opened its M.Tech admission portal for the July 2026 session. The application process is currently live, and you have roughly 10 days left to submit your forms.

M Tech Eligibility & Requirements
- Minimum Marks: At least 60% marks or a 6.0 CPI on a 10-point scale in your qualifying degree (B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc).
- Entrance Exam: A valid GATE score (2024, 2025, or 2026) is mandatory for the “Regular” category.
- Exemption: IIT graduates with a CGPA of 8.0 or above can apply for direct admission without a GATE score.
COAP 2026: registration is compulsory. You must have a COAP ID to accept offers during the counseling rounds starting May 11, 2026.
