IIT Hyderabad Placement 2022 -2023: Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad ( IIT Hyderabad ) conducted its campus placements from December 1 to 7, 2022. As per data issued by IIT Hyderabad, over 700 students registered for the placements across all departments. IIT Hyderabad students received over 500 job offers. The highest salary package was recorded at INR 63.78 lakhs and the average package offered to students stood at Rs 19.49 lakhs.
As per reports, during phase one of ITT Hyderabad Placements, a total of 54 offers were made to students from 13 companies. IIT Hyderabad conducted its placements in hybrid mode, so that companies could interviews in online or offline modes.
As compared to IIT Placements 2021, the Hyderabad branch has seen a substantial increase in the number of international offers. For instance, last year, IIT Hyderabad had recorded a total of 46 international offers in phase one and two combined.
At the Artificial Intelligence, AI Department for BTech students, a placement rate of 82 percent was recorded within the first week of the process.
The major hiring sectors for IIT Placements at Hyderabad included core engineering, IT and software, finance and consultancy.
“We believe in creating industry-ready talent with strong fundamentals, which certainly will fetch the dream jobs for the students. The various initiatives taken in the last two years, like Internship for BTech, Interdisciplinary MTech & so on, have made us achieve these numbers, and we will continuously innovate to make our students prepared to fulfil their dreams,” stated IIT Hyderabad Director B.S Murthy.
