The MBA IB Admission for the 2026-28 session is primarily based on the CAT 2025 score. You must have a valid CAT 2025 score and apply separately to IMS BHU’s MBA/MBA-IB program on the BHU admission portal. Candidates can apply Online.

MBA IB Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the MBA-IB program at IMS BHU, candidates must fulfill the following:
- Qualifying Degree: A Bachelor’s degree (under the 10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline, or a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education, or Law, or a Post-graduate degree in any discipline.
- Minimum Marks:
- General/OBC: Minimum of 50% aggregate marks at the qualifying examination.
- SC/ST: Minimum of 45% aggregate marks at the qualifying examination.
- Entrance Exam: Must have appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 conducted by the IIMs.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of qualification at the time of admission.
MBA Selection Process and Weightage: The final selection is based on a composite score derived from the following components:

MBA Application Process
- Appear for CAT 2025: You must first register and appear for the CAT 2025 examination.
- Apply to BHU: Visit the official BHU admission portal (usually bhuonline.in or admission.bhu.ac.in) during the application window (expected November 25, 2025 – January 4, 2026).
- Registration: Register with a valid Email ID and Mobile Number (preferably the same used for CAT registration).
- Fill Form: Complete the online application form with personal and academic details.

MBA Shortlisting: Shortlisted candidates, based on their CAT score and academic record, will be called for the GD/PI rounds.
