Delivering the keynote address, former Union Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur highlighted that India today needs skilled, ethical, and visionary leadership and said, “India’s greatest strength lies in its 40 crore young citizens who will play a decisive role in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. The youth must actively engage in governance and policy-making while remaining vigilant against the challenges of dynastic politics. In a democracy, leaders are expected to walk alongside the people as companions, not demand blind loyalty”.
Welcoming the gathering, Dr. Abhay Anand Tiwari, CEO, FORE Centre for Political Leadership & Governance (FCPLG), said, “At FCPLG, we are committed to nurturing future-ready leaders who are grounded in values and equipped to address the challenges of tomorrow. This felicitation and debate competition reflect our mission to create platforms where young minds can engage with ideas, sharpen their perspectives, and contribute meaningfully to the democratic process”.
In his special address, Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar, Chairman of FORE, stated how India’s demographic dividend is one of the greatest assets. “By fostering dialogue, debate, and mentorship, FCPLG aims to empower youth to embrace responsibility, think critically, and step into leadership roles that will define the nation’s future,” he said.
