IIM Nagpur PhD Admission 2026. Application Open

PhD: This is a residential program aimed at those pursuing careers in teaching and advanced research.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

Academic Record: Master’s degree or 4-year Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA). For SC/ST/PwD, the requirement is 55%.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as of June 1, 2026.
Qualifying Exams: A valid score (within 3 years) in CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF (UGC/CSIR).
Exemption: Full-time PGP alumni from any IIM with a CGPA of 6.0/10 or above are exempt from standard test scores if they graduated within the last three years.

Designed for executives who wish to continue their research while working.

Experience: Requires a minimum of 10 years of professional experience (excluding internships).
Selection: Candidates can apply via IIMJ-RAT (the institute’s own test) if they do not have a valid CAT/GATE score.
Fee Structure: Total program fee is approximately ₹1,98,000 for the duration.
Criteria Weightage: Selection is based on PI (50%), Academic Record (35%), and Work Experience (15%).
