Updated as on Jan 18, 2:44 PM. JEE Main 2024 Updates: The NTA has released the JEE Mains 2024 advance city intimation slip for Paper 1. Candidates can download their exam city slip from the official website. The exam will be held on January 24 (2nd Shift) for B.Arch. & B Planning and on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2024 for B.E./B.Tech.

The Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City for B.E/ B Tech will be available to candidates on the official website of JEE at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The B Tech/ B.E or Paper I examination will be conducted on January 27, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2024. The Paper I examination will be conducted in two shifts- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2024 : National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue admit card and exam city information slip for the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024) on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. The exam will be held from January 24. Admit cards will be issued “3 days before the actual date of the examination” and admit cards are expected in the second week of January. Candidates can download it using application number and date of birth.

JEE Main exam city slips will be issued on jeemain.nta.ac.in. The notice will also be published on nta.ac.in.
JEE Main 2024 Eligibility: EE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating through the Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. The qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

- Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
- Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
- Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
- If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
- If all options are correct, then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
