M Tech Eligibility & Selection Process
- To be eligible, you must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories from Maharashtra) in a 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant branch.
- Entrance Exam: You can apply through one of three paths:
- GATE (2024/2025/2026): Valid scores are highly preferred.
- PERA CET 2026: A common entrance test for private universities in Maharashtra.
- MIT-WPU CET 2026: The university’s own internal entrance exam.
- Personal Interaction (PI): Mandatory for all candidates (including GATE qualifiers). It carries 50 marks out of the total 150-mark selection criteria.
- Statement of Purpose (SOP): You may be required to submit or discuss your research interests during the PI.
