M Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification: A full-time Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum Marks: At least 60% aggregate (or First Class) in your qualifying degree..
• Schooling: A consistent record with at least 60% in Class 10th and 12th is generally expected for campus placements later.
• Final Year Students: If you are appearing for your final semester exams in 2026, you are eligible to apply, provided you complete your degree requirements before admission.

The VITMEE is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) lasting 2 hours.

• Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Section 1 (Technical): 80 questions based on your chosen core engineering branch.
• Section 2 (English): 20 questions on English Communication.
• Marking Scheme: +1 for every correct answer; No negative marking.

Note on GATE 2026: Candidates with a valid GATE score are also encouraged to apply. While VITMEE is the standard path, GATE-qualified students may receive preference or fellowships as per university norms.
