M tech Programs & Specializations
IIIT-Delhi offers industry-aligned M.Tech programs with both GATE and Non-GATE entry tracks:
- M.Tech CSE: AI, Data Engineering, Information Security, Mobile Computing, and General CSE.
- M.Tech ECE: VLSI & Embedded Systems, Communications, and Machine Learning.
- M.Tech Computational Biology (CB): Focuses on the intersection of IT and biology.
- M.Tech CSE-Research: A thesis-oriented program for those aiming for R&D or Ph.D. paths.

M tech Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Record: Minimum 65% aggregate (or 7.0/10 CGPA) in B.Tech/BE/MCA/M.Sc. (60% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/CW).
- GATE Track: Valid GATE score (2024/2025/2026). Note that for M.Tech CB and CSE-Research, a GATE score is mandatory.
- Non-GATE Track: Candidates without a GATE score (or with low scores) can apply for CSE and ECE via the PGCAT-IIITD entrance exam and subsequent interviews.
- Final Year Students: Eligible to apply if they complete their degree requirements by the date of registration.

- Direct Portal: Unlike many IIITs that use CCMT, IIIT-Delhi uses its own admission portal.
- Application Fee: ₹500 plus transaction charges.
- Financial Support: GATE-qualified students are eligible for a stipend of ₹12,400/month. Research Assistantships may offer up to ₹21,000/month.
M Tech Tuition Fees: Approximately ₹3.7 Lakhs to ₹6.0 Lakhs for the entire program, depending on the specific track (CSE/ECE vs. Research).
