Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has announced it will use GATE 2026 scores for recruitment. The eligible papers are Civil Engineering (CE), Chemical Engineering (CH), Electronics and Communication (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE), Instrumentation (IN) and Mechanical Engineering (ME).

How to Check Your GATE 2026 Result
Follow these steps on March 19 once the result link is active:
- Go to the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in
- Click on the GOAPS portal link or the GATE 2026 Result button on the homepage
- Log in using your Enrollment ID or registered email address and password
- Complete the arithmetic captcha to proceed
- Your result will show your qualifying status, marks out of 100, All India Rank (AIR) and normalized GATE score

What the GATE 2026 Scorecard Is Used For
The GATE scorecard is accepted by IITs, NITs and centrally funded technical institutions for M.Tech and Ph.D. admissions. Several public sector companies also use it for direct recruitment. Candidates are advised to download the scorecard during the free window to avoid paying the Rs. 500 fee that kicks in from June 1.
