M Tech Eligibility
- For GATE Candidates: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master’s degree in Science with a valid GATE score.
- For IIT Graduates: B.Tech graduates from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 or above (7.5 for SC/ST) are eligible for direct admission without a GATE score.

M Tech Application Process
To secure a seat, candidates must complete a two-step registration process:
- Institute Portal: Apply directly on the IIT Tirupati Admission Portal.
- COAP Portal: Register for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2026. This is where you will view and accept admission offers from all participating IITs.
Financial assistance in the form of Half-Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) of ₹12,400 per month is available for eligible Indian Nationals.
