The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 rankings have been released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Once again IIT Madras (Indian Institute of Technology Madras) tops in overall category, IIT Madras also tops in Engineering category.

- IIT Madras has topped the overall ranking for the seventh consecutive year.
- The rankings were released for 17 categories, including new categories for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Open Universities, and Skill Universities.
- The NIRF framework evaluates institutions on five key parameters:
- Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR)
- Research and Professional Practice (RPC)
- Graduation Outcomes (GO)

Top 10 Management Institute in NIRF Ranking 2025:
IIM Ahmedabad (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad or IIMA ) Top once again in NIRF Ranking 2025. Top 4 places have no changes in comparison to NIRF Ranking 2024. MDI Gurgaon tops in the private category and overall ranked 9 followed by XLRI Jamshedpur.
IIM Calcutta slipped 2 places and now ranked 7th whereas MDI Gurgaon (Management Development Institute Gurgaon) ranked 9th jumped by 2 places and came in top 10 in Management Institute category.
