NIT Calicut PhD Admission 2024: NIT Calicut (National Institute of Technology Calicut) invites applications for admission to the Ph.D. programmes (Monsoon Semester) 2024 under the Visvesvaraya Ph.D. Scheme: Phase-II. A total of three full-time fellowships and two part-time fellowships are available in the Institute under Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme for Electronics and IT during Monsoon 2024-25. The vacancies will be distributed in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSED), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECED), and the Department of Electrical Engineering (EED). Candidates admitted under Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme will be governed by the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MEITY), Govt. of India. The candidates applying for admission to Ph.D. Programmes under Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme in the Computer Science and Engineering Department must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements: For admission to Ph. D programme in CSED, candidates should have passed M.E./M.Tech./M.S. Degree with any one of the degrees (Undergraduate or Postgraduate) in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering or other equivalent Engineering disciplines. OR MSc. /MS or equivalent degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics or MCA degree.
