JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the revised syllabus of JEE Main 2024. The reduced syllabus is available at the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) have truncated the syllabus for JEE 2024 Main scheduled between 24th January 24 to 1st February 24. While many topics including states of Matter, Surface Chemistry, and Hydrogen among others have been removed from Chemistry, topics such as mathematical reasoning and mathematical induction have been omitted from Mathematics. Communication systems and a few topics from experimental skills have been removed from Physics on the other hand.
It Looks like the specific chapters which were removed by NCERT have also been reduced for JEE Main 2024. No new topic has been included in the revised Syllabus by NTA.

Few experts feel, this announcement of reduction in Syllabus by NTA is a bit late, as by now the serious aspirants might have completed the syllabus covering these topics too. The announcement should have come in the beginning of the academic session in the months of April or May so that the students could have planned likewise and have adjusted their timings well.
Some feel truncation of syllabus will be beneficial as it has been done proportionately and has brought a balance in all the subjects as earlier the Chemistry Syllabus was huge compared to others.
This reduction in syllabus has a downside also, as many shared IIT aspirants will not benefit out of this move, students preparing for JEE Advanced alongside with aiming for admission in IITs will have to put in that additional effort.
