Mangalore, September 20, 2025: The Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management marked a historic milestone as it hosted the 15th Graduation Day Ceremony for its first autonomous batch of Bachelor of Engineering students. The verdant campus came alive with pride and celebration, honoring the academic journey of the Class of 2025.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Dr. Raj Mohan C., Director at Kyndryl, and Guest of Honor Ms. Hiyori Takashima, Manager at Zenken Corporation, Japan. Their presence added global perspective and gravitas to the occasion.
Dr. S. S. Injaganeri, Principal, welcomed the gathering with an upbeat address, setting the tone for a day of reflection and recognition.
Dr. Sudheer Shetty, Vice Principal, announced the gold medalists for 2025, who were felicitated by Dr. Raj Mohan and Ms. Takashima for their stellar academic achievements.
In his keynote, Dr. Raj Mohan drew from his own student days to emphasize lifelong learning and ethical leadership. He spotlighted Artificial Intelligence and prompt engineering as transformative forces shaping tomorrow’s careers, urging graduates to stay resilient and curious in the face of change.
Ms. Hiyori Takashima’s address offered a cross-cultural lens on adaptability and inclusion. Sharing her professional journey, she encouraged students to embrace diversity and nurture both ambition and well-being—values that resonate deeply in today’s global workplace.
Chairman Dr. Manjunath Bhandary, in his Presidential Address, congratulated the graduates and underscored the importance of skill labs and continuous upskilling. Quoting Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, he inspired students to pursue dreams that spark passion and purpose, while upholding Sahyadri’s legacy of integrity.
The ceremony concluded with certificate distribution led by Heads of Departments, followed by a solemn Oath Taking ceremony conducted by Dr. Shantharajappa while Dr. Sarathi Manjappa, Director of R&D, delivered the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the collective effort behind the day’s success.
For Sahyadri’s newest alumni, the event was not just a farewell but a launchpad into a future shaped by knowledge, values, and global vision.
