IIM Lucknow convocation 2026: The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) celebrated its 40th Annual Convocation on Mar 19, 2026. A total of 807 degrees were conferred across various management and doctoral programs.

The ceremony was presided over by N. Chandrasekaran Chairperson, Board of Governors, IIM Lucknow and Prof. M.P. Gupta Director, IIM Lucknow. Sanjiv Bajaj, Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Finserv Limited, attended as the Chief Guest.

• The “Triple Crown”: Director M.P. Gupta highlighted that IIM Lucknow has now earned the prestigious “triple crown” accreditation—EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA—placing it among the top 1% of business schools globally.
• Reshma Sareen Excellence Award: This award for the “Best Girl Student,” originally instituted in 1997, was revived this year. It was jointly awarded to J. Soundarya and Vanshita Goenka, carrying a cash prize of 1 lakh.

About IIM Lucknow or IIM L: The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is fourth in the prestigious IIM family of management schools to be established in India after IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore.
