Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) held its 13th Convocation at its auditorium. A total of 162 students were conferred degrees—64 from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) batch of 2021-2023, 97 from the 2022-2024 batch, and one from the first batch of the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).

Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman and Managing Director of Kirloskar Brothers Limited, served as the event’s Chief Guest. Addressing the students, he said, “Leadership is about making forward-thinking decisions. Your education is just the start of a lifelong learning journey.” He encouraged graduates to remain curious and open to change.
During the ceremony, outstanding students were recognized for their exceptional performance. Anand Shankar from the PGDM batch of 2021-2023 was awarded the All-Rounder Certificate, while Amrita Anand was recognized as the topper of the batch. In the 2022-2024 batch, Piyush Harsh took home the All-Rounder Certificate, and Purnima Kumari emerged as the topper.

In his welcome address, Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, urged the graduates to uphold moral integrity in their careers. He also highlighted CIMP’s recent achievements, such as being selected as the state’s lead knowledge institute by NITI Aayog and being ranked 6th in the Eastern Zone and 31st among government business schools in India by India Today in 2024.

Dr. Singh emphasized the need for a multi-dimensional approach to problem-solving, focusing on technology, sustainability, and global growth. “It’s time for you to focus not only on your intelligence quotient (IQ) but also on your technology quotient (TQ). You need to become pioneers of change, creating innovative solutions that transform society. Quality, productivity, and sustainability should be your focus, as these elements will help make our great country even greater.”

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Ranjit Tiwari, Assistant Professor. He said, “Remember the values and lessons you have learned here. Pursue your goals with passion, integrity, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the world.”
Kumod Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer, said, “As you leave CIMP, remember that true success lies in the impact you create. Be leaders who embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.”
Also present at the event were Vivek Kashyap, Senior Administrative Officer of CIMP, Sunil Kumar, Professor of Practice at CIMP and former Chief General Manager of NABARD, Vibhash Kumar, Professor of Practice at CIMP and Executive Director (Retd.) of Indian Oil Corporation, along with CIMP faculty, parents of the graduating students, and members of the CIMP family.
