A Chartered Accountant by profession, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. For the 2024-25 term, he has been designated as the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India’s leading industry body.

Memani is an active contributor to public discourse on tax and policy reforms and has been a member of several high-level committees established by the Government of India. The graduation ceremony was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including Fr.Jerome Cutinha, S.J., Chairman of the Board of Governors of XIM University, Rajive Kaul, Emeritus Chairman of the Board of Governors, Fr.Antony R.Uvari, S.J., Vice Chancellor, Fr.S.Antony Raj S.J., Registrar, Fr.Arokiyadass Vanathaian, S.J., Chief Finance Officer, and the Deans of various schools at XIM University.
Additionally, few esteemed Board Members were also present to commemorate the occasion. Prof.Niraj Kumar, Dean, School of Rural Management welcomed all the students, parents, dignitaries, and guests. Fr.Antony R.Uvari, S.J, Vice Chancellor, XIM University, in his report, elaborated the accomplishments and milestones of the University in the past year.
The top rank holders across schools were felicitated with Medals for Academic Excellence by the Chief Guest.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Fr.S.Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar. The Vice Chancellor commended the efforts of both the Government of India and the Government of Odisha in taking numerable measures for development of the higher education sector and contributing to nation-building initiatives.
He further highlighted the significant achievements of the university over the past year, underscoring its continued growth and impact.
