AICTE: – All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) released the academic calendar for the 2023-24 session. It is available to access on the council’s official website – at-india.org. According to the academic calendar for 2023-24 released by the AICTE, institutes approved by the council must commence classes for first-year students on or before September 15, 2023.

Moreover, AICTE added that September 15, 2023, is also the deadline for 1st year admission and second-year Engineering and Technology courses lateral entry.
AICTE Refund policy & Admission Cancellation. PGDM Institutes
For all institutes, except standalone PGDM/PGCM institutions, the deadline for cancelling seats in technical courses and receiving a full fee refund is September 11. The deadline for granting or refusing approval is June 10, with the deadline for approving an appeal being June 30. The deadline for universities/boards to grant affiliation is July 31, 2023.

According to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the deadlines for PGDM and PGCM institutes are as follows: June 10 for granting or refusing approval, June 30 for granting approval after an appeal, September 11 for cancellation of admission with a full fee refund, and September 15 for the last date of admission.
Institutes offering open/ODL courses will follow the calendar for various activities as per the policy of the University Grants Commission (UGC), as stated by AICTE.
For Extension of last date for application for Approval 2023 -2024
In continuation to the Public Notice No. Regulation Bureau/AICTE/03(02)/2023 dated 21-03-2023 and 06-04-2023 it is hereby informed that the last date for submission of online application is extended till 20th April 2023 (midnight) and with penalty till 23 rd April, 2023 (midnight). It may be noted that there shall be NO further extension of date.
