All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has released the Revised Academic Calendar 2021-22 on October 25, 2021. This calendar is expected to be followed by all AICTE approved Institutions and Universities for this academic year. More details available on aicte-india.org].

AICTE Revised Academic Calendar 2021-22 asks for Institutions to begin their classes for First Year students of Technical courses latest by November 30, 2021. The guidelines even mention that this date will not be applicable to those that have already completed their admissions process and started with the classes.

According to the official notice, AICTE has not asked any Institute to start online/offline classes. This decision is on the authorities concerned. The notice even mentions about Institutions with ODL/Online Courses.
CBSE Board exams 2022: released Term-wise revised syllabus
For that, AICTE has said that all the admissions related processes will be done as per the UGC policy. Hence, these Institutes must refer to that. It must be noted that by giving the dates for reopening, the idea is to ensure that classes can resume in any mode possible. It even mentions that the academic calendar can change as per the conditions prevalent.
