AIMA MAT 2025 : The All India Management Association (AIMA) has announced a special Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2025, scheduled to be conducted on July 20, 2025. This special session has been introduced as part of an admission drive for the current academic year, providing fresh applicants and previous test-takers an opportunity to secure admission into leading business schools across the country.

AIMA had earlier conducted the MAT Paper-Based Test (PBT) on May 31 and another CBT session on June 8, 2025. With this additional exam date, candidates now have another chance to improve their MAT scores or apply for MBA admissions if they missed earlier sessions. The registration window for the special CBT is currently open at the official AIMA MAT website, and the last date to apply is July 14, 2025.

The special MAT CBT will be conducted in 28 cities across India, and candidates can select their preferred exam city while filling out the application form. The process to apply involves creating a login ID on the official portal, selecting exam preferences, uploading documents, and paying the application fee of ₹2,200

Step-by-Step Guide to Filling the MAT Application Form:
Step 1: New Candidate Registration (Create Log-in)

- Visit the Official MAT Website: Go to the official AIMA MAT website (usually https://mat.aima.in).
- Click on “Register” or “New Candidate (Click here) to Create Log In”.
- Fill Registration Details: Enter your Name, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth, and set a password.
- Confirm Details and Submit: Double-check all entered information.
- OTP Verification: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify your phone number.
- Receive Login Credentials: A new login ID and password will be sent to your registered email ID. Note these down carefully.
Step 2: Login and Fill Application Form
- Log in to your account: Use the login credentials (Email ID and Date of Birth, or the new login ID) received in your email.
- Select Test Mode and Exam Centre(s):
- Choose your preferred test mode(s) (PBT – Paper Based Test, CBT – Computer Based Test). You can opt for one or two modes.
- Select your preferred exam city/cities from the available list.
- Upload Photo and Signature:
- Upload the scanned images of your passport-size photograph and signature as per the specified format and size guidelines (mentioned above).
- Select Management Institutes (MIs):
- You can select up to 5 Management Institutes to which your MAT score will be sent.
- If you opt for two test modes, you might get the benefit of selecting additional MIs (e.g., 2 extra, making it 7 in total). There might be an additional fee for selecting extra MIs.
- Fill Personal Particulars:
- Enter your personal details accurately, including nationality, parents’ names, and address.
- Mention the Photo ID you will be carrying on the exam day.
- Fill Educational Qualifications & Experience (if any):
- Provide details of your academic background (Class 10th, 12th, Graduation, etc.), including institution name, year of passing, and marks/percentage.
- If you have any work experience, fill in the relevant details.
- Review and Save: As you fill the form, make sure to save the information periodically by clicking the “SAVE” button. You can log in again to edit details (except Name, DOB, Email, and Mobile Number) if needed before final submission.
