The CEOWORLD magazine has released its much-anticipated global B-school rankings for 2026, offering a comprehensive look at the shifting landscape of management education. This year’s analysis, which surveyed 250,000 industry professionals and executives, sees a notable shift at the summit as the London Business School claims the prestigious No. 1 spot, edging out traditional American powerhouses like Wharton and Stanford.

CEOWORLD magazine has named London Business School the world’s top business school for 2026. In the 2026 global rankings, London Business School took the No. 1 spot, followed by the Wharton School in second place and Stanford Graduate School of Business in third.

The 2026 CEOWorld MBA rankings deliver a strong performance for Indian management education, with two premier institutions breaking into the global top 50. IIM Calcutta leads the Indian contingent at Rank 46, followed closely by IIM Ahmedabad at Rank 48. These rankings underscore the high regard for Indian quantitative and analytical training among global recruiters. Further down the list, the diversity of the Indian management landscape is evident as IIM Indore (52) and FMS Delhi (55) outperform several established international brands. Interestingly, the rankings show a competitive cluster in the mid-70s, where IIM Rohtak (75) and IIM Bangalore (76) are nearly neck-and-neck, highlighting a narrowing gap between the older and newer IIMs in terms of global reputation and job placement metrics.
