FORE School of Management, New Delhi was awarded the “Best Business School with specialized curriculum” by Associate Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India which organized the “The EduMeet 2018 & Education Excellence Awards” at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata on 12th July 2018. On behalf of FORE School, Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director received the award from the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal Keshari Nath Tripathi.
This award to FORE is also an evidence of the right initiatives being taken by FORE to strengthen various facets of business teaching. The Fore School of Management which is located in the heart of South Delhi is known for it’s industry oriented initiatives and curriculum. 85% of the faculty at FORE is from industry or comes with an industry exposure. In addition to its main academic programmes, FORE is also engaged in Research, Consultancy, seminars, academic conferences and research publications. Recently FORE School offering a new program “PGDM in financial management” with 60 intake.
Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director at FORE, has been a Professor of Marketing and the founder Dean (Noida Campus) of the IIM Lucknow before joining FORE. With a B.Tech. and M.Tech both from the IIT Delhi, and a Doctorate from the University of Toronto, he has to his credit many national and international publications. He has been a consultant to the World Bank, IDRC (Canada), GWB (for GTZ Germany), Coal India Ltd., Globe Caste India (a division of France Telecom), various ministries of the Government of India, etc. and member of a few policy committees of the Government of India. In academics he has been associated with teaching at IIM Ahmedabad, Kozhikode and Lucknow and at Danube Business School, Danube University Krems, Austria.
