Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIM Bodh Gaya), in a dedicated pursuit of fostering awareness about health and hygiene fundamentals, recently undertook a transformative initiative in one of the villages adopted by the institute- Turi Khurd. On November 26th, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, a dynamic team comprising 17 students from Pragati, the CSR committee of IIM Bodh Gaya, along with two esteemed 
IIM Bodh Gaya Placements 2023. Average Salary jump by 34%
The cornerstone of this impactful event was the ‘Happy Periods’ initiative, where students actively engaged with women and girls from the village, imparting crucial knowledge about basic menstruation hygiene. Following this, they distributed free sanitary pads among them. This vital awareness session set the tone for a broader mission, underscoring the institute’s commitment to the well-being of the adopted communities.
