This recognition marks the Institute’s second consecutive year in the global Top-70, underlining its growing international stature and its reputation as a leading centre of excellence in management education. The FT rankings are based on a series of metrics including salaries and pay rises for alumni three years after completing their courses, value for money, career progress and aims achieved, as well as international diversity and gender balance of students and faculty.

Strong Global Performance across Key Parameters
IIM Kozhikode delivered a well-rounded performance in this year’s rankings, excelling in areas that reflect its core strengths of excellence, inclusivity, and sustainability:
- Salary Growth & Employability: Alumni reported a 38% increase in salaries, with 100% employability within three months of graduation and a rare 100% alumni response rate—on par with the best-ranked B-Schools globally.
- Championing Diversity: With 57% women students and 47% women representation on its Board, IIM Kozhikode continues to set benchmarks for gender inclusivity—leading all IIMs nationally.
- Global Outlook: The Institute’s 2% international student representation, the highest among IIMs and at par with IIM Bangalore, reflects its rising global appeal and commitment to cross-cultural learning.
- Sustainability Leadership: IIM Kozhikode attained 66th rank globally in ESG and net-zero teaching—the best among IIMs—and an impressive 51st rank worldwide in carbon footprint, affirming its commitment to responsible management education and sustainability.

A total of 137 Masters in Management programmes worldwide participated in the FT MiM Rankings 2025. Business schools must meet strict criteria in order to be eligible. Their programmes must be full-time, cohort-based and accredited by either AACSB or Equis. IIM Kozhikode’s strong standing in employability, inclusivity, and sustainability demonstrates its distinct identity among leading global business schools.
This achievement comes on the back of the Institute’s Top-3 placement in the NIRF 2025 Rankings (Management Category) for the third consecutive year, further consolidating its position as one of India’s most progressive, impactful, and globally respected management schools.
