bMBA Eligibility Criteria
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-time, post-qualification work experience completed as of July 31, 2026. (Internships or pre-graduation jobs do not count).
- Academic Base: A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 10+2+3 or 4 system) with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Professional qualifications like CA, CS, or ICWA are also fully eligible.
- Qualifying Tests: Applicants must hold a valid, center-based score from any of the following exams taken between August 01, 2021 and July 31, 2026:
- CAT
- GMAT / GMAT Focus Edition
- GRE
- Alternatively, candidates can appear for the official bMBA Entrance Exam conducted by IIM Lucknow on July 12, 2026.

📝 bMBA Entrance Exam Format
If you choose to take IIM Lucknow’s proprietary entrance test, the pattern comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be completed in 120 minutes. The test features three core sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA).

The Hybrid Delivery: The programme spans 6 terms over 2 years. It utilizes live online evening/weekend interactive classes coupled with mandatory, immersive on-campus modules totaling 28 days across the two years at the IIM Lucknow campus.- Degree Awarded: Upon completion of the required credits and the final capstone project, students graduate with a full Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IIM Lucknow, along with permanent alumni status.
