The courses are cheaper than the ones at IIM-Ahmedabad (Rs 30 lakh), IIM-Calcutta (Rs 31 lakh) and IIM-Bangalore (Rs 24.5 lakh).
Till last year, the fees for the full-time programmes at NITIE ranged from Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh. The institute has received some government funds to construct additional infrastructure on campus, but it will have to build its corpus and be financially independent from the next year, said the director.
