PGPBM Eligibility Criteria

Academic Background: A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualification) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA). For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum mark requirement is 45%.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience (as of the application deadline) after completing graduation.
Entrance Exam Score: Candidates must either possess a valid CAT score or appear for the written entrance test conducted directly by IIM Tiruchirappalli.

The selection process evaluates candidates holistically based on academic consistency, work experience, entrance test performance, and personal interviews:

Candidates submit their online applications via the official PGPBM admission portal with complete academic transcripts and work experience details.

Shortlisting & Written Test: Applicants are shortlisted for the Written Test conducted by IIM Trichy (or evaluated based on valid CAT/GMAT scores).

Personal Interview (PI):Venue: Chennai Campus ~ Shortlisted candidates undergo a Personal Interview at the IIM Trichy Chennai Campus on February 27 or 28, 2027.

Final Merit List Generation: The final selection is based on a weighted composite score comprising Written Test performance, Personal Interview, Relevant Work Experience, and Past Academic Records.
