Despite the overall positive outcome, about 30 to 33 PGPM students were left without placements, sparking unease among some students.

The placement season at IIM Trichy showcased a diverse mix of offers across key domains, including consulting, BFSI, FMCG, operations, IT/Analytics, and HR, reflecting the institute’s strong industry alignment. While many students celebrated successful placements, some chose to step away from the campus process to follow entrepreneurial dreams or seek roles that felt like a better personal fit. However, with the job market becoming increasingly selective, a few are still on the lookout for the right opportunity.

The final placements for the PGPM 2022–24 batch saw a significant rise in recruiter participation, with over 192 companies making 329 offers. The PGPM-HR batch also experienced impressive growth, attracting 42 companies, marking a 51% increase from the previous year, and receiving 29 offers. The average CTC stood at ₹19.43 lakh for PGPM (MBA) and ₹17.88 lakh for PGPM-HR (MBA HRM).
