IIT Bombay Placements 2024: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) ended with 388 domestic and international companies participating in the phase 1 as on Dec 20, 2023. 85 students accepted job offers with CTC (cost to company) more than Rs 1 crore per annum.

Among 388 offers includes companies making pre-placement offers (PPOs) as well as participating public sector units (PSUs). Firms have interacted with candidates in person or through virtual meeting platforms with all the students appearing for the interviews from the venue itself.
Out of total 1,340 offers made during the first phase of the placements, there are a total 85 offering salary-packages greater than Rs 1 crore, which is much higher than the 25 such offers last year. The average salary package too has witnessed a marginal increase from Rs 23.26 lakh per annum last year to Rs 24.02 lakh per annum this year.

Sectors having the highest number of offers rolled out are engineering & technology, IT/software, finance/banking/fintech, management consulting, data science and analytics, research & development and design. 63 students received international offers with locations in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Netherlands, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Some of the top recruiters, who have visited the IIT-Bombay campus this season are Accenture, Airbus, Air India, Apple, Arthur D Little, Bajaj, Barclays, Cohesity, Da Vinci, DHL, Fullerton, Future First, GE-ITC, Global Energy and Environ, Google, Honda R&D, ICICI-Lombard, ideaForge, IMC Trading, Intel, Jaguar Land Rover, JP Morgan Chase, JSW, Kotak Securities, Marsh McLennan, Mahindra Group, Micron, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Mercedes-Benz, L&T, NK Securities, OLA, P&G, Qualcomm, Reliance group, Samsung, Schlumberger, Strand Life Sciences, Tata group, Texas Instruments, TSMC, TVS Group and Wells Fargo, among others.

IIT Bombay Placements 2022 are ongoing and have turned out to be a big hit so far. IIT Bombay students have received over 1500 job offers out of which 1224 were accepted. As per the data shared by the institute till Day 9 of the placement drive, 25 students have accepted job offers with CTC over Rs 1 Cr per annum.

Over 400+ domestic and international organizations have registered with IIT Bombay this year and have offered 1100+ unique profiles, shared by the institute. 71 international offers were made by organisations in locations such as USA, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Netherlands, and Singapore, and 63 were accepted by students.
Some of the top recruiters who have visited the campus this season are American Express, TSMC, Honda Japan, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Morgan Stanley, Sprinklr, and conglomerates such as Reliance, Adani, and Tata.
