IIT Gandhinagar M Tech admission 2024 : IIT Gandhinagar (Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar) invites application for its early PhD programme for the academic year 2024- 2025 Application Deadline October 08, 2023. IIT Gandhinagar is the first IIT of India to open Applications for M Tech Admission 2024 and PhD Admission 2024 without GATE Score with fellowship.

M Tech Eligibility Criteria
There is NO application fee.
- Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from NITs with a CPI/ CGPA of not less than 8.0 at the end of their 3rd year for candidates from General/EWS/OBC categories OR CPI/ CGPA of not less than 7.5 at the end of their 3rd year for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories. Students who are among the top 5 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for General/EWS/OBC categories or top 10 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories and who do not meet the CPI/ CGPA criteria as mentioned here shall also be eligible.
- Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from select colleges who are among the top 5 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for candidates from General/EWS/OBC categories or top 10 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre-final year for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories.
- Students from Final year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) from IITs with a CPI/CGPA of not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3rd year.

Fellowship
- Rs. 12,400/- + Rs. 3,000 (Director’s fellowship) per month (with valid GATE score)
- Rs. 6,000/- per month (without GATE score)
- Selected Candidates may have the opportunity to complete 8th Semester of B Tech at IITGN as a visit student, before joining the Phd Program at IIT GN.
IIT Application Procedure
All applications must be submitted online. On submission of the application form, the candidate will be redirected 
to the homepage of the portal, where they can download the form. The applicants are requested to download the form and keep a copy with them. A mail to the candidate regarding the details of the application and a link to download the application form is sent after the submission.
