The full examination schedule, and details of the test cities, will be released shortly on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Question papers will be set in English and Hindi, and candidates must appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 for their scores to be considered. As per the current plan, Paper 1 will run from 9 am to 12 pm, while Paper 2 will take place from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Only candidates who rank within the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to sit the Advanced exam.

JEE Main will be held in two phases next year — the first session from January 21 to 30 and the second from April 2 to 9. Those meeting the required cut-off will be invited to register for JEE Advanced.

The eligibility rules also include an age requirement. Applicants must be born on or after October 1, 2001, with a five-year age relaxation for candidates from SC, ST and PwD categories.
