No Physical Reporting Required for Upgrades: Candidates who are allotted a seat in a counselling round and select the “Upgrade” or “Willing to Upgrade” option for subsequent rounds no longer need to physically visit the allotted college solely to complete admission formalities.

Paperless Online Seat Resignation: MCC has digitized the seat resignation process through its official portal
Eligible candidates wishing to vacate an allotted seat can submit their resignation online within the designated timeline.
- Candidates no longer need to visit the allotted institution in person to submit resignation paperwork, provided the exit complies with MCC rules for that specific round.

Online Document Submission for NRI Quota Seats: Applicants seeking admission under the NRI Reservation at Deemed Universities can now upload all supporting documents directly through the MCC portal.

Directives on Seat Matrix and Fee Structure Transparency: MCC conducts counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100% seats in Central and Deemed Universities, while state authorities manage the remaining 85% state quota seats.
- State and Union Territory medical authorities have been instructed to ensure clear visibility of available seats, fee structures, and bond conditions before choice filling begins.
