15% All India Quota (AIQ): Conducted by the MCC for 15% of seats in government medical/dental colleges across India, as well as 100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, Central, and Deemed Universities. It is open to students nationwide regardless of domicile.
85% State Quota: Conducted by individual state authorities for 85% of seats in state-run government colleges and 100% of seats in private state medical colleges. Domicile rules apply.

If you do not manually lock your choices before the deadline, the MCC portal will automatically lock your last saved preferences. However, candidates are advised to verify and lock their choices manually to ensure their preference order is saved correctly.

Q4. What are the registration fees for MCC NEET UG counselling?

The counselling fee consists of two parts:

Non-Refundable Registration Fee: ₹1,000 for General/EWS candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates for Government AIQ seats.
Refundable Security Deposit: ₹10,000 for General/EWS candidates and ₹5,000 for reserved categories. For candidates applying to Deemed Universities, the security deposit is ₹2,00,000 for all categories.
