Mumbai University will soon offer a course on ‘temple management’, in collaboration with Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies. It will be one of the various diploma and certificate level courses to be offered offline as well as in online mode under this collaboration.
Varsity’s Centre for Hindu Studies along with its Sanskrit Department has entered an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies very recently.
As per information shared by the Mumbai University, focus of this agreement is to indulge in holistic study of Hindu philosophy. This newly established course will provide a comprehensive exploration of Hindu philosophy, with a curriculum encompassing degree and certificate programmes.Based on the interest from students and employment opportunities the University may start a Post Graduate Diploma or an MBA Programme In future.
The strategic partnership aims to enrich academic offerings and promote a deeper understanding of temple management within the framework of Hindu studies. The collaboration is also expected to work toward developing novel courses related to Hindu philosophy.
