PGDBA is a 2-year full-time residential program offered jointly by three premier Institutes of the country – IIM Calcutta, ISI Kolkata, and IIT Kharagpur.
The 5th batch (2019-2021) of the two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) programme successfully concluded its summer internship placement process placing all 61 students (100%). Different organizations across industries participated with fervor to handpick candidates suitable for data and business driven roles. The batch of 61 students received seventy-four (74) offers from seventeen (17) firms.
The internship remunerations for this year witnessed continued growth despite the prevailing pandemic situation. The average monthly stipend recorded at INR 138,525.00, registering a growth of 4% as compared to last year. The median monthly stipend remains similar of last year’s figure of INR 125,000.00. The highest monthly stipend was recorded at INR 200,000.00, a staggering increase of 16.27% over last year.

Eligibility:
- A candidate must hold a graduate/post graduate degree with any of the following: 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2, with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B. Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent). One-year MBA will not be considered equivalent of M.Sc./M.Com.
- Candidates with 10+3(Engineering diploma) +3(lateral entry into B.E./B.Tech.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B. Tech./ B.E.), or with 10+2+4(B.Sc.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B. Sc.), or with B.Com. + CA with at least 60% marks (Intermediate and Final examinations of the CA considered together) are also eligible.
- For SC/ ST and Person with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates, the qualifying marks for eligibility shall be 55% or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale.
- The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks even if the degree awarding Institute provides marks in CGPA system. Their admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale than 10, the eligibility of a candidate will be based on the equivalence of the CGPA on a 10-point scale.
Criteria for final selection to PGDBA Batch 2022-24:
A candidate’s final score for selection is calculated on the basis of Table 1, which indicates the criteria and their weights to be used for the final selection to PGDBA for the batch 2022-24.

Verbal Ability: Reading & Comprehension; Grammar/correction of sentences.
Logical Reasoning: Logical connectives, Statements and Conclusions, Matching and sequences.
Data Interpretation And Data Visualization: Data driven questions (pie charts, graphs, trends).
Quantitative Aptitude: Sets, combinatorics, Basic Probability Theory.
