TISS Placements 2025: The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai has completed final placements for its flagship HRM & LR batch of 2023-25 with an average CTC of Rs 28.2 Lakh per annum, and the highest CTC was of 36.2 Lakh per annum. For the batch of 2022 -24, the median salary offered was Rs 26.31 Lakh per annum, and average salary offered was of Rs 25.28 Lakh per annum, a steller 10% increase in average salary and % in median salary.

According to a statement from the institute, 60 students out of the participating cohort of 70 received a package of Rs 20 lakh and above.
Around 43% (30) of the cohort out of 70 students received Pre-Placement offers (PPOs).
Total 35 companies made offers, of which eight were first-timers. Aditya Birla Group rolled out the highest number of offers, followed by Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Asian Paints, Godrej Industries and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Ather Energy, Capital One, Emversity, Lupin Ltd., Motilal Oswal, OYO, Persistent Systems, Virtusa Consulting were all first-time recruiters, while Flipkart was back on campus after a hiatus.
The overall process witnessed the participation of regular recruiters like Accenture, Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Aditya Birla Group, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Citi Bank, Dr. Reddy’s, Godrej Industries, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Mondelez International, Nestlé, Reliance Industries, RPG, TAS etc.
Conglomerates and manufacturing companies absorbed about 17% of the students each, followed by the BFSI sector (14%) and PSUs (9%). Around 65 of the overall offers were in the HR domain.
XLRI Placements 2025. Highest Salary offered 1.1 Cr Per Annum
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai completed the summer placement process for its flagship HRM & LR batch of 2024-26, with a highest stipend of Rs 4.5 lakh for two months. The mean stipend stood at Rs 3.22 lakh for two months, an increase of 14.2% over the previous year, and the median stipend was Rs 3 lakh for two months.
The average stipend of the top 10% and the top 25% was Rs 4.5 lakh and Rs 4.36 lakh for two months respectively, while the top 50% of the batch received an average stipend of Rs 3.98 lakh for two months. Around 92% of the batch received a stipend of Rs 2 Lakhs (for two months) and above.
About TISS: The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 by Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The year 1964 was an important landmark in the history of the Institute, when it was declared Deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act (UGC), 1956.
In 1954, TISS moved to a permanent campus at Deonar, Mumbai (now known as the Main Campus), from the earlier campuses at Nagpada and then Andheri.
From 2024 onwards TISS started accepting CAT Score for their shortlisting process, previously they used to conduct TISSNET.
