UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 at the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in — for the exams that took place between August 21 to August 23.

The candidates who appeared for the test can check the provisional answers from the official website mentioned above. The provisional answer key also has a question paper along with recorded responses.

Students who appeared for the examination can challenge the answer key between September 7 to September 9 up to 11:50 pm. The last date for the payment is Sept 9, 2024.
For certain centers, the examination was postponed due to various reasons and was reconducted on other dates.
UGC NET 2024: Steps to download provisional answer key
Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET
Step 2: Click on the UGC NET Answer Key 2024 link shown.
Step 3: Fill your application number and date of birth and submit it.
Step 4: The answer key will be shown, download and save it for future reference.
A fee of Rs 200 will be required to pay online for every answer key challenged, this will be a non refundable charge. The UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted between August 21 and September 4 in a computer-based format (CBT) at – centres from all over the country.
Every question in the question paper carried two marks and candidates are awarded two marks for each correct answer. No marks will be deducted for wrong answers and no marks will be awarded for unattempted or unanswered questions.
The UGC NET is conducted twice every year (June and December) for appointment of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship and for admissions to PhD programmes. The exam was earlier conducted on June 18 but got cancelled on June 19 post amid the charges of paper leak which were later found to be true. As per Media Report
