VITEEE 2025: Engineering students wish to join undergraduate engineering programmes in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), must appear for VITEEE – the annual entrance examination conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology for admissions to its campuses at Vellore, Chennai as well as its group universities at Bhopal, Amravati and the just opened campus in Mauritius, respectively.

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has commenced registration for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2025, scheduled to be held tentatively from April 21 to April 25, 2025. This entrance exam is the gateway for undergraduate engineering aspirants seeking admission to VIT’s various campuses. Interested candidates can apply on the official website, until March 31, 2025.
Recently VIT declared a placement report for the B. Tech Batch 2024. 24 students received a salary of Rs. 50 LPA.
VITEEE Eligibility: Candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) while there is a relaxation of 10% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states. Candidates belonging to these categories should produce the documents at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission. The selection of subjects should be mentioned in the application Form.
Online Application Form: Candidates can apply online at the official site of VITEEE by paying Rs. 1350 and register by sharing requisite details.
Candidates can then login to fill the application form by entering the email id and the password received at their mail and the contact number. After entering all the required inputs, candidates can submit the application form of VITEEE to generate the application number which must be noted down for future reference. Candidates have to pay the application fee and upload the scanned photograph and signature to complete the process.
NRI Candidates can pay a demand draft of 50 USD by sending it along with the hard copy of the application form to the Vellore Institute of Technology.
Selection Criteria:
Selection is based on Rank in VITEEE , students can participate in the online counseling basis of their Ranking. Candidates with rank up to 1 lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai campus.

Step 3: Login using the credentials and fill VITEEE application form 2023
Step 4: Pay the VITEEE application fee online
Step 5: Upload scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format
Step 6: Submit and download the VITEEE 2024 application form
VITEEE Scholarship under “GV School Development Programme” (GVSDP)
The Class 12th Board toppers and the candidates who have qualified the VITEEE 2020 will be eligible to avail the scholarship under GV School Development Programme (GVSDP) of VIT University. Candidates can check the details of the scholarship from the table given below:

VITEEE will be conducted between 21 and 27 April 2025 (tentatively) at designated centres across India and abroad (No. of days will vary for test cities). The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates can appear only once for VITEEE-2025. All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions and one mark for the right answer and zero for the wrong answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Those who score ‘0’ in total will be declared as ‘Not qualified’ and will not be eligible to participate in the counselling process. There will be a total of 125 questions divided into the sections Maths/Biology (40 questions), Physics (35 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions), and English (5 questions).
