XLRI held its 69th annual convocation on Saturday, marking a significant milestone in the institute’s legacy. The event witnessed the presence of ITC Limited Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Puri as the chief guest, while Tata Steel CEO and MD TV Narendran graced the occasion as the special guest. The convocation celebrated the academic achievements of 595 students, who received degrees. In addition, three professors and 14 administrative staff members were awarded the ‘Long Service Medal’ for completing 15 years of dedicated service to the institute.
A major highlight of the event was the prestigious Sir Jahangir Ghandi Medal for Industrial and Social Peace Award, which was conferred upon ITC Chairman and MD Sanjiv Puri for his outstanding contributions to industry and society. Students who excelled academically were honored with gold medals, underscoring the institution’s commitment to excellence and leadership. The ceremony was attended by XLRI Director Dr. (Fr.) Puri highlights India’s growth potential
Addressing the gathering, Sanjiv Puri congratulated the graduating students and faculty members.
