VITEEE 2026: B Tech Admission at VIT University

VITEEE 2026: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has opened registrations for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) for B Tech admission 2026 to its undergraduate engineering (B. Tech) programmes across all VIT campuses.  The entrance exam serves as a gateway to BTech programmes offered at VIT Vellore, Chennai, VIT Bhopal, and VIT University AP campuses, and will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) at designated centres in India and abroad. The last date to apply is 31 March 2025.The extended date to apply is Apr 12, 2026

VIT is one of the oldest private universities in India and tops the NIRF Ranking 2024 in the Private Engineering Category.

The VITEEE 2026 exam is tentatively scheduled to take place between April 28 and May 3, 2026. The duration of the test will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are allowed to appear only once for the exam, and any attempt to take the test more than once will result in the cancellation of candidature and admission.

B Tech Placement 2025. IIT, NIT, VIT Starts Package with 1 Cr+

Recently VIT declared a placement report for the B. Tech Batch 2024. 24 students received a salary of Rs. 50 LPA. 

VITEEE Eligibility: Candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) while there is a relaxation of 10% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states. Candidates belonging to these categories should produce the documents at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission. The selection of subjects should be mentioned in the application Form.

Online Application Form: Candidates can apply online at the official site of VITEEE by paying Rs. 1350 and register by sharing requisite details.

Candidates can then login to fill the application form by entering the email id and the password received at their mail and the contact number. After entering all the required inputs, candidates can submit the application form of VITEEE to generate the application number which must be noted down for future reference. Candidates have to pay the application fee and upload the scanned photograph and signature to complete the process. 

NRI Candidates can pay a demand draft of 50 USD by sending it along with the hard copy of the application form to the Vellore Institute of Technology.

Selection Criteria: 

Selection is based on Rank in VITEEE , students can participate in the online counseling basis of their Ranking. Candidates with rank up to 1 lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai campus.

  Step 2: Click on the VITEEE registration tab and fill details including name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID
  Step 3: Login using the credentials and fill VITEEE application form 2023
  Step 4: Pay the VITEEE application fee online

  Step 6: Submit and download the VITEEE 2024 application form
