VIT Placement 2023: VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) saw a historic high during the first slot placements, with two of its students bagging a job offer of INR 1.02 Crore per annum. The offer was rolled out by Motorq, a start-up, cloud-based connected car data company based in California, USA.

IIT Placements 2022 set new highs, Job offers in Crores
With this, VIT also embarks on the “1 Crore Package League” during its current placement season (2023) for B. 
Tech students. Two students from the current batch – Amit Agarwal & Shrithak Bharadwaj, who are in their final year currently, bagged placement offers of INR 1.02 Cr per annum.
Also to be noted that VIT has been the first institute to share the placement update for 2023.
Last year, the highest package received by any B. Tech student at VIT was INR 75 lakh per annum.
As on July 25, 2022 – the offers rolled out in VIT Vellore Campus were:
- JP Morgan Chase & Co: 84 students
- Microsoft: 45 students
- Fidelity: 24 students
- Well Fargo: Over 8 students
Five “Super Dream Companies” participated during the first placement slot at VIT – Microsoft, DE Shaw, Morgan Stanley, Airbnb, and Media.net.

According to VIT, the current placement season witnessed excellent “super dream offers” for students. It’s expected to rain more dream offers in the upcoming days from companies like Shell, Oracle, MakemyTrip, Nielson, SAP Labs, Flipkart, Urjanet, and Razorpay, among others, to line up during the campus placements.
