AEEE 2025: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has released the dates for the 1st phase of the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2025 for the B Tech Admission 2025 in various campuses.

As per the official notification, the AEEE 2025 exam will take place on February 1 and February 2, 2025. The official statement on the website states, “Phase 1 of AEEE 2025 is scheduled on February 1 & 2. Candidates desirous of attending Phase 1 shall register by paying the application fees on or before Jan 20. It is mandatory to book the slot on or before the stipulated date and download the admit card. Admit card is mandatory to attend AEEE.”

The AEEE 2025 registration deadline, initially set for January 7, has been extended to January 20 to accommodate applicants. For the next academic year, AEEE 2025 will be conducted in two phases – one in February and another in April.

Eligibility
- Candidates desirous of joining Amrita B.Tech. programs shall satisfy the following eligibility & criteria before the commencement of classes.
- Age: Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003 upto 30th June 2009.
- Educational Qualification: A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidate passing out in 2025 and passed out in 2024 can apply.

AEEE Pattern:
- Duration of the Exam : 150 Minutes (2.5 Hours)
- Mode of Exam : Computer Based Test (CBT) held at various cities across the country.
- Subjects:
Mathematics: 40 questions
Physics: 30 questions
Chemistry: 25 questions
English: 5 questions - Marks: 3 (three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (minus one) for each wrong answer.
Admission process: According to the performance of candidates in the entrance exam, candidates who meet the requirements for AEEE 2025 will be offered admission to the University’s B.Tech programmes through a Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Two phases of the AEEE will be held in January and April 2025. Candidates can attend the exam in January or April. The AEEE is conducted at more than 90 centres spread across the country. Best percentile score is taken to rank the candidates attending both the phases.
