AIIMS 2018 online application forms open, Apply Before Mar 05, 2018

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS has released the online application form for AIIMS 2018 entrance examination. The notification was released on February 1, 2018, and the form was made live yesterday, February 5, 2018. Interested candidates can now fill the online application form on the official website aiimexams.org. All candidates are advised to carefully go through the brochure before filling the online application form. The summary of the eligibility and other important pointers about the examination are provided below for quick access.

AIIMS MBBS 2018 Eligibility: Indian nationals who have attained the age of 17 years as on 31 December 2018 are eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2018, provided they have completed their class 12 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology before the commencement of admission to the respective college. This extends to students who are appearing in the class 12 board examinations this year. Please note, there is no upper age limit for AIIMS MBBS 2018 examination. However, minimum marks in the qualifying examination of 60% for general category student and 50% for SC/ST/PWD Candidates is required. Candidates failing to secure the minimum marks would not be admitted to the course at the medical college. Also, in case a student/ candidate gets CGPA, then they would have to apply for the conversion of the CGPA to percentage while filling the online application form.

Please note, foreign nationals are not required to fill the online application form or appear in the competitive entrance examination. The admission of Foreign nationals is strictly on the basis of nomination. Interested candidates are required to contact the Indian Mission in their respective country for details of the same.

Application Fees: General and OBC category candidates applying for the entrance examination are required to pay a fee of Rs 1500 for the form. The fee for SC/ST and Persons with Disability is set at Rs. 1200. Additional transaction fees as applicable for online payment. Please note, only online payment modes of a credit card, debit card or net banking are accepted. Also, the application form would not be considered submitted till the payment of the fees.

Exam date: May 25, 2018, and   May 26, 2018 (The examination   would be conducted in two   shifts, depending on number of   applicants and/ or logistics.)
